Fibromyalgia Support Group

You can manage your symptoms of fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue. Receive support and share concerns with others affected by pain, fatigue, sleep problems and more. Meetings offer a variety of self-care topics through speakers or open forums, shared personal experiences and coping strategies, informational handouts and a lending library.

The purpose of this group is to provide support and resources for those with Fibromyalgia. We alternate months between having educational speakers and group members sharing their own experiences. September is our Information Exchange Month. May is our Annual Awareness Month. Personal Sharing is limited in a group setting during months we have educational speakers, and our September and May meetings. However, there is time set aside the last 20-25 minutes to share with others individually and network.

There are many conditions that overlap and/or co-exist for fibromyalgia patients. Some of these include arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, Sjogren's disease/syndrome and lupus. There are over 100 co-existing arthritic conditions alone that can feed into or aggrevate Fibromylagia Symptoms. This is why we have opened the door for others who suffer from other chronic pain diseases/disorders/syndromes to join us for the support they and their family and friends may need.

We are sponsored both The National Fibromyalgia Association and The Arthritis Foundation. For more information on meetings, see our flyer.  You also can visit us on Facebook.

Location #2: Courage St. Croix (Stillwater)
Conference Room A

Days/Times: Fourth Monday of the month, 6:30-8 p.m.
